Conferência Final do Projecto IEE no BARREIROFinal conference with the subject «Sustainable Energy Location»
S.energia is the Regional Energy Agency for Barreiro, Moita, Montijo and Alcochete, this agency was created with support from the European Programme "Intelligent Energy Europe" by EACI - Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, in a consortium with three other energy agencies in Italy, Romania and Malta (SEA, ALEEM Vaslui and MIEMA).
In this final period of European Commission support for the creation of these four energy agencies (2007-2010), S.energia, as coordinator of the consortium, and the Municipality of Barreiro are organizing a final conference with the subject "Sustainable Energy Location" to be held on October 21st and 22nd in the Municipal Auditorium Augusto Cabrita, in Barreiro.

The conference program will feature three thematic panels: I - Contribution of Energy Agencies in the European Climate Change Strategy, II - Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and III - Sustainable Mobility and Transport. During the two day conference will also present a gallery of the auditorium, a small Exhibition on "Good Practices in Energy Sector" where our members participate. This event will certainly be an ideal opportunity for sharing knowledge and experiences, to find partners for new projects, and also to debate ideas and perspectives on future European and National Energy Policy.
This conference has as its target audience: the Energy Professionals, Environmental Professionals, Managers and Technicians of the Central Public Administration, Regional and Local Energy Agencies Technicians, teachers, researchers, students and the general public interested in these areas.
This event will certainly be a perfect moment for sharing knowledge and experiences, to find partners for new projects, and also to debate ideas and perspectives on future European and National Energy Policy.
This conference has as its target audience: the Energy Professionals, Environmental Professionals, Managers and Technicians of the Central Public Administration, Regional and Local Agencies Energy Technicians, teachers, researchers, students and the general public interested in these themes.
We believe that this event will provide stakeholders an interesting and enriching experience, allowing contact with experts in the field of Environment and Energy.
